Our pregnancy yoga classes provide a safe, nurturing environment for you to explore movement, breath work, mindfulness practices, relaxation and to meet other expectant mums.
Drawing on my experience as a birth doula, childbirth educator, maternity services liaison committee member for Leeds Trust, pre-natal Pilates teacher and mum of three, I am passionate about empowering women to trust their bodies and enjoy the miracle of pregnancy without fear or discomfort.
Pregnancy yoga classes take place via Zoom link, so you can connect front the comfort of your own home, and from anywhere in the world. They offer the perfect environment to connect to your baby and learn to feel more comfortable in your changing body, as well as giving you some much needed space to relax your mind and focus on a positive birth experience, whatever form that takes.
Our classes are fun, friendly and packed full of valuable information that will enable you to become the master of your own changing body, and empower you to make the best decisions for you and your baby’s wellbeing. With a focus on alignment, we explore movements, stretches and exercises to build strength, stability and flexibility in the body. Following basic principles from the acclaimed Restore Your Core programme, you will also learn how to move better as you go about your day, which often results in niggles such as back ache or pelvic girdle pain easing.
Once you join our pregnancy classes, you will be invited to become part of our Facebook community through the private group I have created. The group offers a closed space to share information, ask questions, elaborate on something we have discussed in class, and most of all, make friends for life.
As they are promoted by health care professionals in the area, our pregnancy yoga classes are extremely popular and there is often a waiting list to join. They are suitable to attend from 12 weeks until your baby is born, and no previous experience of yoga is necessary. You wont need any particular equipment, just a blanket and pillow.
