Join us for a weekend of Mindful Movement, rest and relaxation as we head to the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors National Park.
Our home for the weekend will be The Tree Relaxation Retreat. Named as one of the top 20 retreats in the world by The Times, The Tree offers a cosy, home from home space to rest, recharge and replenish mind, body and soul.
During the course of the weekend we will practice mindful movement, combining yoga and Pilates with deep strengthening work to heal, nourish and rebalance the body. Held in the recently converted chapel, which overlooks the Moors, the classes will be energising, rejuvenating and accessible for all, including those who are new to yoga. We will practice mindful breathing practices to settle the mind and relax the nervous system, while also enjoying the deep healing benefits of Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep. Our meals will be delicious, home-cooked and vegetarian, with a range of wines available to buy on site.
A team of specialist therapists will also be on hand to offer spa or holistic treatments including massage, reiki and holistic facials.
The pace for the weekend will be slow, nurturing and nourishing, with plenty of free time to enjoy walking, journalling, resting or soaking in the outdoor hot tub and enjoying the beautiful, rugged views.
Accommodation is offered in shared rooms, with limited single rooms available for a supplement of £75. The cost includes all classes and group led sessions, all meals, shared accommodation, use of the on-site facilities including the hot tub, unlimited tea and coffee throughout the day. Spa therapies are not included in the price.
